The Angels project is an exploration of icons and myths. The photographs were created in the studio as collaborations between the photographer and the model.
In much of the world, angels are spiritual beings, who are considered messengers of God. They teach, command and inform. Angels are revered, and often take human form. From the fallen angel, the angel of death, and the angel of mercy, models took the persona of one who could fly. The images examine the idea of playing a character in mythology, and look at metaphors in our culture, which run the gamut from greeting cards, to Victoria’s Secret models wearing wings.
The portfolio is an interpretation of one group of supernatural beings.
